Luxe Designer Logo Sweaters : GQ for Gap

GQ for Gap 2018 Channels Menswear Designers From All Over the World

The GQ for Gap 2018 project highlights Gap’s most iconic piece — the sweater, as it channels eight different luxe menswear designers to participate in their new iterations. The signature logo sweater is a piece of nostalgia as it stands as a staple piece throughout the years. This element serves as the main design inspiration as well, tapping into retro aesthetics to generate captivating new designs on the classic piece.

Some contributing designers include Massimo Giorgetti from MSGM, Opening Ceremony’s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, No Vacancy Inn’s Acyde, Brock Korsan, and Tremaine Emory, Pierre Maheo of Officine Generale, Stampd’s Chris Stamp, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, Dsquared2’s Dan and Dean Caten, and Surf is Dead’s Christopher Josol. Some design details in the range include double hoods, geometric shapes, bold graphics, technology inspirations, vintage fades, zippers, and more.
