Festival comes with happiness and joy around the corner. The celebrations of festivals are incomplete without the sweet delicacies. When it comes to preparing sweets, nobody wishes to compromise with the sugar quotient that gets involved. This Eid adopts a healthy living lifestyle and add Stevia (Natural Sweetener) in your favorite delish recipes and compete for your celebrations with no guilt.

Sooji Halwa

Semolina is the coarse granules of durum wheat. Boiled semolina is used to prepare porridge in many countries .it used to prepare many types of the recipe in India.

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Semolina 1 cup (50g)
  • Water 2 cup (200g)
  • Sugar 3 teaspoon (15g)
  • Ghee 4 Teaspoon (20g)
  • Sugar-free green powder (5 scoops)

Recipe

  • Heat ghee in a broad non-stick pan for 1 min.
  • Add semolina and roast on a medium flame for 8- 10 min until it turns into brown color.
  • Keep stirring mixture continuously to avoid burning of semolina.
  • Add sugar and sugar-free green powder and mix them properly for 1- 2 min
  • Add hot water and cook the mix for 2 min.
  • Garnish with dry fruits, 50% Sugar reduced Sooji Halwa is ready to enjoy

Final product weight- 208g

  • When the mixture starts to thicken, add cardamom powder & chopped almonds.
  • Keep stirring the mixture until it starts leaving ghee, and leave sides of edges of the pan.
  • When it start leaving edges, switch off the flame.
  • Garnish halwa with almonds.

Mango Halwa

Ingredient (1 serving)

  • Semolina 1 cup (50g)
  • Water 1 ¼ cup (150g)
  • Sugar 3 teaspoon (15g)
  • Ghee 4 Teaspoon (20g)
  • Mango pulp-1/2 cup (50g)
  • Sugar-free green 4 scoop

Recipe

  • Heat ghee in a broad nonstick pan for 1 min.
  • Add semolina and roast on a medium flame for 6-8 min until it turns into light brown color.
  • Keep stirring mixture continuously to avoid burning of semolina.
  • Add mango pulp, and keep stirring the mixture.
  • Add sugar and sugar-free green 1- 2 min before adding water and mix them properly.
  • Add hot water and cook the mix for 2-3 min.

Mango halwa is ready

Rice Kheer

Ingredients

  • Full Fat Whole milk (960ml)
  • Basmati Rice or any other rice (40g)
  • Sugar (20g)
  • Unshelled unsalted almonds (9g)
  • Unshelled unsalted pistachios (9g)
  • Golden Raisins (5g)
  • Cardamom Pods Cracked open (0.25g)
  • Sugar-Free Green (5 scoops)
  • Saffron (few Strands)

Method of Preparation

  • Rinse rice with cold water, change the water until it appears clear
  • Over medium heat, bring milk to boil, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching
  • When the milk begins to boil, add cardamom powder and stir
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and add rice to the boiled milk
  • Allow the rice to cook until tender, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking of rice and scorching of milk, do not overcook the rice
  • Add sugar & sugar-free green, nuts, raisins, and saffron and stir to mix well
  • Remove from heat and allow kheer to cool
  • When completely cooled, move to the refrigerator to chill

Serve chilled.
