The SATC star is embroiled in a custody battle with her former fiance, and last month was granted full temporary custody of their son after filing for an emergency protection order against Otunga.
Jennifer Hudson has alleged her former fiance David Otunga physically abused her in front of their young son.
The singer also claims the professional wrestler left out guns to intimidate her – after her mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew were murdered by her sister’s estranged husband in 2008.

In court papers obtained by DailyMail.com, Hudson, 36, made the claims in her petition for order of protection against Otunga, who she was engaged to for nearly ten years.
Meanwhile reports that Olly would be leaving the X Factor and joining The Voice surfaced in October, before the first official pictures of him on the panel were released.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s a huge coup for The Voice to have Olly on board. His personality will shine through as a coach.
‘It won’t be like when he presented X Factor when he had to remain impartial,’ they added.

His former mentor is said to be unimpressed, with the insider claiming at the time: ‘Simon isn’t happy Olly’s swapped allegiances, especially as he left the X Factor to concentrate on his music.’
Olly replaced Gavin Rossdale, after The Bush star, 51, originally filled the space left by Culture Club singer Boy George as part of a major overhaul following its defection to ITV from network rival BBC1 in 2016.
But producers reportedly told Rossdale his services will no longer be required after failing to impress during his first series.
A source told The Sun in August: ‘Gavin was great to work with during the series, but the bosses just felt he wasn’t right in the end.
